Tournament Rules
There are two rounds in the tournament, online preliminary round and final round.
1. Online Preliminary Round Number of qualifiers：20,(10 of China Group, 6 of Korea Group, 4 of World Group) Date and time: August 08, 2016, August 8, 2016 – （start at 07:00 pm）(CST, UTC/GMT+8 hours--Beijing time) 7:00 pm every day. Be late for more than 15 minutes will be treated as abstention. Qualification rules：Single-elimination tournament，winners of each group qualify for the final round. Time limit：20 minutes, 30 seconds, 3 times; If a player loses his connection 5 times during a game, his game will be lost by forfeit. Game rules：Chinese rule，all games are played even, with Black giving a komi of 7.5 points. Match location：eweiqi platform[Match Room] Judgement: Follow the rules of platform. (If a player doesn’t reconnect within 5 minutes after disconnecting or disconnects 5 times during a game, his game will be lost by forfeit.) *The match time cannot be changed at online preliminary round.
2. Final Round Match location：Xiamen Aqua Resort Hotel Match time：September 14, 2016 – September 18, 2016 Game rules: Chinese rule，all games are played even, with Black giving a komi of 3+3/4 stones. Swiss system tournament with 7 rounds Time limit: 60 minutes, 30 seconds, 3times
3. Notes 1）All the participants for final round must play face-to-face at the designated place. The organizers will bear transportation, food and accommodation expenses for all players. 2）Prize money and trophies will be awarded after matches. 3）Players have obligation to cooperate with organizers in interviews. 4）The winners of online preliminary round should provide real identify information and contact details. 5）If a winner of online preliminary cannot participate in final round
(personal reason or disqualification due to professional limit),
the qualification will be postponed
